Along The Road To Titus Canyon

Approaching Titantothere Canyon along the Road to Titus Canyon. The ridge along upper distance is composed of the Lower to Middle Cambrian Carrara Formation, roughly 535 to 515 million years old; the Carrara yields many species of trilobites and algae nodules, in addition to world-class suites of ichnofossils--tracks and trails of invertebrate animals that crawled across the muddy sea bottom over a half a billion years ago.
