Lower Cambrian Harkless Formation

Esmeralda County, Nevada

Two Ogygopsis sp. trilobite tail segments/pygidia (the top specimen shows a portion of the thorax, as well, interestingly enough) from the Lower Cambrian Harkless Formation, Esmeralda County, Nevada; reddish-brown staining of the specimens is due to naturally occurring iron oxides.
